Deadpool #1 -SPOILERS ALERT!!-

Spoilers for Deadpool #1 (November 2012, Marvel Now crap)

OK, I'm not a huge Marvel fan but I love reading a few of their books. I'm loving the current Daredevil run which seems to have stopped, probably because of the mini series by Brian Bendis. The Punisher is good too, specially the last few issues wre good. So, I was waiting for this new 'Deadpool' since the character has always seemed interesting to me but I never read any of his comics. The point one I tried reading, bored me so I couldn't read further. But I thought this could be my beginning. Well, after waiting for a month or more, I finally read it a while ago. What I hate about Marvel is indulgence of other characters in a comic. And so it wasn't Deadpool we see in the beginning. It's that fucking Captain America I really fucking hate.
Before I get any further, let me explain why I hate cap'n US.
I love America but I hate patriotic people. Patriotic people of ANY country piss me off. One of the reasons is that apparently they tend to hate the rest of the world. The other reason I hate him is that he is too goody good to be real. This is one of the reasons I hate John Cena. It just makes him so boring and annoying.

Anyway, after his ass is off, we get to read more boring crap & about some S.H.I.E.L.D crap. Probably another of Marvel characters. When we finally think we're gonna see deadpool, when some sword cuts up a cartoony dino that even a sweeper isn't afraid of, we see Thor coming out of the belly. I think Marvel either forgot that this is a solo character comic, since ninety percent of their comics are about groups with half of the comics being about 'X-Men & 'Avengers', or they are too desperate to sell their other comics. Later, the comic did get interesting but the last letter "by deadpool" pissed me of a little more, specially when it was mentioned that Tony Moore is 'OK'. I love Tony Moore. I think he's my most favorite artist. OK, I don't like his art colored but that's not his fault but I had stopped reading 'The Walking Dead' when I had found out that the artist had changed after issue 6. Jacen Burrows used to be my most favorite first but after reading, 'The Walking Dead' Moore became my #1. Anyway, I'm still going to read issue two of deadpool before I decide to stop reading this crap or continue.

Darksiders 2 - unfairness

This post was going be about something else but I guess? I've forgotten that or am too lazy to even remember what I was going to write so I'm going to post about something else. I wanted to mention how I hate it that some bosses in Darksiders 2 come right after the other. It has happened twice or more since I've been playing. So it happened with this "Champion" called Gnashor :( We have to find three stones first that require visiting some areas, platforming & doing kiddy puzzles. I wish if a sub boss had to come, it was during first & second visits for the stones that wake the Champion but no. I had all my health too, most of the time. So all the pots, graves etc I broke, I couldn't take more health & wrath potions because I never or rarely used any. But during the last stone stage the game throws this beetle towards us, that is a sub-boss. I had to use most of my potions on this fight :(. It sucks that you can't carry more than 5 of each potion & there hasn't been any way to upgrade your carry size. So when I put all the stones on the skull or come out to do that, I can't even back track to get the potions lying around for me. This makes the fight very hard. In his first form it's easy to bring him down but in his second form, though I bring his health down quickly & keep dodging but he keeps regenerating & I feel I get very little time to grab his face when he roars. And I have only a few potions left thanks to that crappy sub-boss, no backtracking & the game throwing bosses at you one after the other. The crows do help but I'm low on wrath potion too, so I have to wait for it to get full. This isn't a very difficult fight IMO but these things fuck the whole fun of a game. The story is a drag too. They've made him an errand boy. He's Death for fuck's sake. He should be taller than other heavy looking giant characters too but instead he looks like a dwarf when he's talking to other characters & at times he seems too polite.

Darksiders 2 on GeForce 210

It's the same day but I wanted to create a separate post for this. I'm playing Darksiders 2 on PC & Dark Sector on PS3. DS is a pretty cool game. At least it was till the first 6 chapters. There are just too many zombies now & very little humans. It's still fun. I won't say it's underrated because I'd give it 7.5/10 too like Gamespot but this friend of mine hadn't cared about it much. I'm not the only one who thinks it's a decent game. It's a really cool game if not awesome.
Anyway this post is more about Darksiders 2. I loved the original Darksiders. It was more like God of War. This one is more like Prince of Persia. The platforming like wall run, side wall run, jumping beams & even combat music remind me of POP series. I wonder if the developer is different. That doesn't mean I hate it. I love pop series especially the 'Sands of Time' Trilogy.  Darksiders 2 is a cool game. I like Death more than War too. War was so expressionless. You could hardly see his face. They put more emphasis on his armor. Although Death has a mask on & it's a cool one, he seems to have some personality. However, I like the gameplay of original Darksiders more. I also don't like enemies lurking everywhere you go. I love platforming, puzzles & the music though. The characters seem nice. The skill system & the outfits are a nice idea too. I also like that we have this bird as our guide. The horse for now is usually for the huge fields but I don't miss him that much. I also like it that we get to use the gun early one & the one with the unlimited ammo at that. It doesn't do much damage but hey, you do need a ranged weapon ASAP in games like these.

About how it plays on my card:
While I played the original on my PS3, I'm playing this one on PC. I still have GeForce 210 512MB SDDR3. Games like Saints Row the Third & The Witcher 2 ran slowly on on this card. But Darksiders 2 seems to run smoothly. It also takes small space as compared to the other two games I've mentioned. It's taking 5.45 GB on my hard disk. At first I thought this might be a demo or a short version but it's not. OK, I've had a few problems. First of all it's the frame rate. I don't know what's going on. Either it's too fast for a human eye or not so smooth. The camera/aim is faster. I can slow it down but it seems the game play is kinda faster too. Not too fast but a little. Or maybe it's trying not to stop in the middle & jumps off after some brief pause I don't notice. But it's not that bad that you can't play. Some people might not even notice it. It's obviously not on high settings. It's toned down. Somewhere b/w medium & low settings. The other problems are related to the PC & not the card itself. I don't know if it's same on consoles but there seems to be some kinda collision detection problem or Death doesn't 'recognize' some surfaces or even enemies. In combats, 90 percent of the time, he attacks at every direction BUT the enemies'.  It's a bit hard to make him focus on enemies. He keeps attacking away from them & because of this keeps hacking & moving away & I have to bring him back closer to the enemy. Secondly he doesn't 'know' whether to wall run up or run the side of the wall. Half of the time he keeps doing the opposite. I mean when I want him to wall run up to grab the 'grabbable' structure above, he'd run sideways on the wall & vice versa. The hints/tutorials seem attached to the area. I was side jumping a wall when the game told me to hit A (Yes, I'm using a shitbox controller) to jump off to run on the adjacent wall. When once I failed to touch a wall & instead was in the air, the game still told me to jump off the wall :P  So over all it's a good experience. Maybe not as great as the original game but it's very close to that experience. I'd recommend this to everyone who enjoyed original Darksiders & those who enjoy POP games.

Jason Todd - Origins.

I was reading the #0 of 'Red Hood and the Outlaws' just a few minutes ago. When I had started it some hours back, I had to put it 'down' because my friends were here. But I had loved the way it had started. Anyway, so I resumed a few minutes ago & finished reading it. I'm not really happy how the story later continued & ended. Jason Todd as Red Hood is an anti-hero & not a villain. Although the story started nicely with his parents being shitty, but later they showed him stealing stuff too. This kinda story is usually written for villains IMO. OK, I know that Catwoman steals too & she's not a villain, rather an anti-hero or anti-heroine if that's a word or so. But he spent his time with Batman as Robin. Now, I haven't read much on him as Robin but Batman's side kick can't be an anti-hero let alone a villain. He may have had his moods but I don't believe he may have stolen anything or was never happy as Robin. I also believe he may have turned as an anti-hero because he later blamed Batman for not saving him. That anger could have made him an anti-hero. Anyway, this was one of my fav series but it's been boring for me since issue 10 because of aliens & spaceships. This issue was different as it was the origins but the next would continue the story of Koriand'r & her sister which means more aliens. I really hope they end this story soon. The only comic I enjoy reading that has aliens is 'Green Lantern' because the story is really nice & the mythology that Geoff Johns is creating. I love Johns. He's a great writer & story teller. There are other DC comics I read that have aliens too like Grifter, Voodoo (probably ended/would end with issue 0) & Action Comics but they have gotten boring for me too but I don't wanna give up yet. As for Superman, this third writer is way better than the previous two but I don't blame George Perez because Grant Morrison & DC never told him what was going on in Action Comics. He didn't even know first that there was another superman comic going on. Superman would get more interesting for me if they take him back to Smallville, make Lana Lang Clark's girlfriend & make the series more like the early seasons of the TV show Smallville where people would get intro trouble because of meteors & kryptonite & clark would go save them etc. The Metropolis, aliens & Lois Lane are so boring for me that I might give up reading this shit.
Anyway, I wanted to post Jason Todd's pic as Robin from issue 0 (2012) He looks hot in this pic. Looks so much better than that jackass Damian. I just wish Batman would feel the same ;) I really wanted a kiss between them but that's not possible off course.

Feminists Suck!

I was just reading some IGN crap on comics and as usual Mr. Joey Esposido showed his hatred over sex and violence in comics & further said he's concerned why it's done for 'predominant male audience.' I hate his opinions since he tends to get feminist. Either he doesn't have a penis or he doesn't have balls. Catwoman isn't a porn magazine. The sex & violence was done in a story way. It seemed necessary. What is wrong with showing some sex for male audience if there are tons of other comics where women aren't shown as sex symbols. Why should they only care about female audiences? Batman & Catwoman have been shown to have feelings for each other since a very long time. Either he never read those comics or his memory & brain have been relaunched along with DC's reboot. Feminists talk against men and they think they are doing the right thing & nobody says that they should be blocked but when men speak their mind and sometimes it's against women, they are considered sexists or misogynists. Sexism is different. It's like considering the other gender inferior. It's not talking against women or showing sex. Next, I read at comicvine, which is a really cool site about comics & have better reviews and cool features, that some guy at twitter whose id was MisterE2009 or so has been blocked by some comic feminists and others. If we don't agree with someone, it doesn't mean we should block their ass. I haven't read his tweets so I don't know what he was saying but here people talk about freedom of speech and there they get annoyed and block someone because they got offended. I don't see men blocking off feminists. It is actually feminists who are making men hate women not sexists. If some people talk about equal rights, then why do they tend to take lion's share instead? I really don't understand them but I don't expect THEM to understand either. I used to believe in equal rights for women & still do but I also hate it when feminists become sexists. Feminists get offended if Catwoman is shown half naked but women enjoy it when a man is shown naked such as in Gambit #1. BTW I enjoyed them both. I mean their nudity too. Catwoman's origins in Batman: Year one is shown as a prostitute. And although her history is revamped, they are showing some relevance to it. So what's wrong if someone who's some how related to a prostitute is shown half naked. What's wrong with it that some female characters are shown sexy. Do all the females have to be non sexy? If so then why enjoy male nudity and go against female nudity? Not all comic characters are shown nude. Batgirl isn't shown that way. Then there are other female characters. If a a few are shown for some other audience, people have a problem with it. Feminists are so selfish. They only think about their rights and don't care about others. I'm so pissed today lol. I think I hate some feminists more than homophobes or maybe I hate them equally. And if feminists are more stupider than I think, then this blog may soon get blocked too for freedom of speech.

Fish Point Sucks

Yesterday, We went to Hyd for some shopping & all. I bought a new scanner, got new RAM, since the old one  died, bought new clothes, new games & a shitbox controller for my desktop. There were more hot guys at the PC/CD shop.

We decided to have food at a hotel called 'Indus Fish Point.' This entry is mostly about the review of that shitty place. My experience there was almost shitty. Two of my friends agreed with me too. Maybe I was expecting a lot from it since we were comparing it to KFC or maybe it was shitty anyway.

First of all, it was a hot day & there was no AC in the hotel room. The toilet was ok too. The stairs felt like they could snatch and fall (I won't say at any time). There were some planks before the stairs ended.

They made us wait a lot. I don't remember waiting this much at any Hyd hotel/restaurant. Even 'Pizza Point' which is another shitty place was quicker than this. The guys with me were throwing stuff on the floor :( I hated that. I don't know whether to blame them or the management for not providing us anything which we can use for junk.

The food was good though. Not awesome but good. But I won't waste my time again in this shitty place

just to eat an everage-well tasting food. In these kinda hotels, the food is usually cheap but not here. :(

Luckily I didn't have to pay. The dude, who I have a crush on, paid the bill. Poor guy. Everything was so expensive. We could have a better experience at KFC. Almost same or a little more price but better environment. But my number one place for food at Hyd is 'Pizza Hut' off course. I got a pizza & garlic bread for me from takeaway later on.
Other than above mentioned difficulties & discomforts I hated being around Muslims. I couldn't take all that religious crap from people around me. So over all it was a very shitty experience. I'm never coming here again & I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but at least I know what are some shitty places at Hyd. I call these mistakes as lessons learned.
----

Later at Shehbaz hotel, the place we all love to relax for a cup of tea, some desi food & a place to relax or even read a book, wasn't that good an experience this time because one of our friends forgot to order the food. So instead we just had tea & had to leave early. I was really pissed at this. I usually wanna spend more of my time here because this place is perfect for relaxing after a long & tiring journey at Hyd. Other than this, I wanted to capture this cute guy on my cam but some jackass came & stood & sat in front of him. I tried my best to take his photo but couldn't take a proper one :( I'm sharing some here:

E3- My fav conference

This could be my first e3 post here. I had talked about it last year too but maybe somewhere else. I may be a Sony lover but I try not to become a fanboy when judging E3 conferences. I don't think last time I had said that Sony was the best & the rest sucked. But I don't remember much & let me talk about this time. IMO Sony nailed it :P Out of the three consoles, Sony had the best conference. Microsoft came a second for me & that's all. But if I was to include EA & Ubisoft press conferences too, I'd say UBI won :P My scores for these conferences are:

Microsoft 4/10
EA: 1.5/10
Sony: 8.5/10
Ubisoft: 9/10
Nintendo: 1/10

Microsoft:
I loved the new trailer/gameplay/footage for my most fav game Tomb Raider. There were some other good games too but I found the rest boring.

EA:
The only trailer I remember liking was Need For Speed: Most wanted. Even though it's my most fav racing game, I wasn't much excited at the end of the footage. The emphasis was on multiplayer. Something I still haven't properly experienced and I was confused why they chose the title 'Most Wanted' too soon, considering the game was popular both with fans and critics.

Sony:
I loved almost everything Sony showed. Loved God of War: Ascension footage. They have seemed to gone higher than GOW3 in graphics. This is the best looking Minotaur ever. Although, I haven't read anything on any elephant guy in Greek Mythology, I loved the boss. 'The Last of Us' was mind blowing & I enjoyed 'Beyond' too. I missed 'The Last Guardian' & 'Infamous 3'. Also, they could have showed more of 'Hitman: Absolution' and 'Bioshock: Infinite' It was also good to know that you can get classic games on PS Vita, though I'm playing TR1 on PSP nowadays.

I had missed Ubisoft live because of some net problem but thankfully I could then sleep for an hour before waking up for Sony. So I watched it at IGN later on. The rest of the live stuff at gametrailers.com. Anyway, so I enjoyed 'Assassin's Creed 3' footage very much. 'Watch Dogs', the one showed at the end? was mind blowing. For me, Splinter Cell is dead so that was a disappointment. But at least the footage I saw was better than what Microsoft had shown. So other than a few little things, I didn't find anything I didn't like.

As for Nintendo, I'm sorry this time I didn't like it very much. The only thing I liked was third party games like Batman, Assassin's Creed & Zombie U. I don't know what's the purpose of an HD console when the games are as shitty looking as those on wii.

I'm still watching the live stuff on GT & will be watching their backstage stuff. I'm usually unable to watch all the vids I want because of some site problems they have but hopefully I'd be able to see many good trailers. I'm still dying to watch God of War:A again.
-----
Other than this I've been playing L.A. Noire on PS3 but I'm not going to talk about it tonight as I've already said enough. So that's all for me. I've been doing some bird photography lately & I usually post my photography at flickr, I might post a few pics here ;)

LGBT Rights on Google News

I added a few sections to google news some months? ago. Sections such as bisexual, gay, mens rights, cats, etc. However, the news I get for these sections isn't always in the favor of the categories mentioned. Half of the time, the news for gay section is discouraging as the news, posted, mentions stories about some rights being snatched away from them, or someone being jailed for being gay, or some church trying to "cure" people or some state against gay marriage. I wonder whether I've made a mistake of adding these sections because the news I'm getting is very discouraging. I thought, as the time passes by, the LGBT community may be getting more rights, maybe, slowly gay or bi people are living more freely and maybe more countries are accepting other sexualities but why the half of the news is about the stories of narrow-minded people? Either google does not understand what kind of news I want or the world is changing its views against people. It worries me to read such stories about such narrow-mindeness. I hope it's just a weakness of google to generate wrong stories and not the world becoming hard for people. If it's the world, which I hope it isn't, then it's so sad to know that the people aren't improving their thinking. But I think it's google since under my section for cats, 90% of time, the news I get is about some baseball team and not about the fluffy feline animal that goes meow meow.

Blah

Sometimes it seems useless? to post w/ no one to comment. I know this should be like a real diary but it's not online for nothing. I haven't been able to find more bloggers who would comment on my journal though I'm following 3 nice people but I don't want to pressure anyone to comment on my blog. I do get views. My post about the GeForce card got more views.
So what's this fuss about blogger deleting gay blogs? I didn't know google would be homophobic. If this is true I might delete my blog & tell my gay friends never to sign up for blogger. Maybe it's the homophobic people who read blogs & flag it inappropriate. The world is full of homophobia. A friend can leave your side once he/she finds out you're interested in same sex/as well, thanks to religion & homophobia.
Anyway, watched a few epis of 'Archer' & 'Breaking Bad' Other than some racial & homophobic remarks, they are ok. Archer can be hilarious... The phone that keeps ringing in the background is annoying though. Also the constant shouting in the second epi was annoying me. I couldn't keep watching the third (or maybe it was 4th?) episode of BB. It had nothing to do with the main theme of the show. It was all about personal life of the characters & I turned it off at the students gathering at his home. It felt like a daily soap. I don't hate soaps, well some of them. I like a few soaps but I was watching BB 'cause I liked the main idea of the show which has been absent since the second epi. I do wanna keep on watching 'Archer' though maybe because of some jokes & the nice looking animated characters. Skyrim has become so repetitive for me but I don't want to uninstall it but there are so many other games I want to play.
Saw 'Gnomeo & Juliet' w/ friends. I liked it more than 'Rio.' It's one of my favs now. I wanna watch more animated movies since the rest of the movies of this year don't interest me, other than a few ones not nominated for Oscars. Well, maybe a few of them are. But IMO 2010 & 2006 were the best years for movies.

bi the way

One thing I don't understand about some bisexual guys is that they seem to completely ignore the fact that they are attracted to both genders when they are in a relationship with a girl. I'm not talking about the 'not-yet-out' guys but the ones who do show their interest in other guys openly, either when they are single or maybe in a relationship with other guys. The moment they find a girl, they tend to 'forget' that they are bi. This could be because of the homophobia in the country. They probably want people to know they are not half gay or maybe their girlfriend gets jealous. Maybe they don't like doing that but have no choice for some reason. This is one of the reasons I look for gay guys more. Now there's this guy who used to comment on my pics at Facebook, sayin I look sexy and all. He apparently got in a relationship with a girl lately. Maybe he's not even with her any more but missing her or so. I just commented on his pic saying I liked his pants. He said something like, 'LOL thanks, man.' I re-posted saying, 'They look good on you. Or is it you look good in them?' He replied me with 'lets just keep it at nice pants :P' Now he's a really good friend of mine but I was a little sad for a while. I tried to ignore it but it just reminded me of other bi guys who had done the same to me or others. Again, this could be because of the society. Maybe they are sick of the majority of the people showing their disgust at same sex relationship. Or maybe it's their girlfriend feeling jealous or insecure. It would be a different matter entirely if that guy was not out yet as a bisexual guy. Although that would be sad too. But it's more sad to find out that these guys who weren't that afraid to show their feelings, are now trying to hide themselves. I don't want to bash at anyone. I love bi guys but it just makes me sad when someone who is not afraid to show his/her feelings in front of others and has been doing so, can suddenly change his/her attitude.
